Nova Scotia, and Halifax in particular are home to an increasing number of young German-speaking families who have either temporarily relocated to the area or have taken up permanent residence to persue work and/or lifestyle opportunities.

If you are interested to hook up with other German-speaking families or start a play group for your kids, please send us an e-mail and we will forward your contact details to other likeminded families.

Please make sure you also check out the excellent playing and learning opportunities as well as children's events provided by the German Heritage Language School. Events include such annual favorites as Laternenfest, Karneval and Christmas parties.
